Vietnam tourism sector honours culinary artisans

The artisans were selected based on a number of criteria, such as having the knowledge, skills and secret of Vietnamese cuisine; participating in preserving, creating and teaching the next generation to promote the value of traditional foods; participating in directing and advising for national and international culinary festivals and major international events held in Vietnam; as well as being honored in culinary magazines and TV programmes on domestic and international cuisine.

At the ceremony, the organising board also presented certifications and cups to nearly 30 individuals and over 100 orgnisations, who have made significant contributions to the Vietnamese tourism industry.

The event aims to honor the outstanding business leaders and individuals with high prestige and effective contributions to the development of Vietnam’s tourism industry in the past few years.

These enterprises have achieved outstanding results in their production and business activities, contributing to the outstanding growth of Vietnamese tourism in 2017.
