Hanoi Tourism Boosted by Anticipated Gift Festival
The festival will run under the theme of Hanoi – Come to Love and will kick off at the pedestrian zone in front of Thong Nhat (Reunification) Park on Tran Nhan Tong street.
Local craft villages and businesses will showcase an array of gift products across 70 booths at the event. Introducing gift products from typical craft villages in Hanoi such as Phu Vinh rattan and bamboo village, Thach Xa bamboo dragonfly village, and Bat Trang pottery village.
Furthermore, a visual art exhibition utilizing 3D mapping technology, and an interactive light performance space incorporating modern technological devices, is expected to offer new experiences for visitors.
Festival-goers will also have the chance to view artistic photographs capturing the beauty of Hanoi; sample the capital’s unique cuisine; and participate in various handicraft workshops, such as making woven bamboo dragonflies, brewing coffee, crafting paper flowers, and creating colorful gifts guided by experts and artisans.
Other activities include art performances, flash mobs, and hip-hop dancing.
The festival is part of activities commemorating the 79th National Day of Vietnam on September 2 and the 70th Capital Liberation Day on October 10.
